Kathe Yokers

Kathe Yokers earned a degree in Secondary Education from Pacific Lutheran University with majors in Music and Theatre.  She also completed one year of graduate school theology at the Benedictine Seminary at Mt. Angel, Oregon.  She has used her music and drama majors extensively throughout her life in many Lutheran parishes as a pastor’s daughter and pastor’s wife: directing children, youth, and adult choirs, handbell choirs; motion choir; accompanying worship on organ and piano; and mounting and directing numerous theatrical productions, both serious and hilarious.  Kathe believes that worship should be full of deep joy and fun.  She is happily married to Phil, and the mother of three lovely daughters, and grandmother of eight lively children.
