Scott Dunfee

Interim Pastor

Scott has been an ordained Lutheran Pastor for 45 years, serving congregations in Arizona, California, Oregon and Washington. He has a Doctorate of ministry, has been part of a Seminary Faculty and has served in various positions with Synod Staffs. He was a Chaplain in the U.S. Navy for over 23 years, also serving the Marine Corps and Coast Guard. Between the Church and the Navy, he has been all over the world. (His Spanish is a little rusty!) As Co-Director of Celtic Spirit Northwest, he shares his passion for Celtic spirituality and culture by taking groups to Celtic countries, Drum Majoring for Bagpipe Bands, throwing in a Celtic Axe League, and conducting Scotch and Irish whisky tastings—being certified by the Council of Whisky Masters. He and Suzie have been married 7 years and between them 3 children, 6 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and 3 grand-dogs.  It's all about God's radical, unconditional, never-ending, all-inclusive love, which the Bible calls “grace” . . . “grace upon grace” (John 1:16). Sometimes, grace is messy. Always, grace is amazing!
