Pastor Jean came to BSLC about a month before COVID restriction shut everything down, so for more than a year and a half her ministry was largely made up of trying new ways of "being church" and having to reconsider how that would look in the next phase. Fortunately she likes to wonder, experiment, and learn. Her gratitude for those partners stepped up is deep, and the Wed. Morning Bible Study group, Sunday Anti-Racism Study group. and Confirmation Youth helped make her feel welcome and more connected. Beyond her love of God and for God's Church, Pastor Jean enjoys walking on the beach picking up sea-polished rocks, spending time in her community garden plot, and reading.
