BSLC has received a proposal asking us to consider selling some of BSLC’s property so that affordable housing for seniors could be built there. This is something the whole congregation needs to be in on considering and then deciding about—neither Council or Pastor can make this decision for the congregation.
To allow us to engage in informed decision making, we will have 2-3+ opportunities to learn and process this proposal together before a vote is called. The first of these opportunities to learn and share, is September 11, after worship, when an informational meeting will also provide an opportunity to record questions to submit to Prestige Development before they make a presentation to us and receive further questions from us on September 25, also following worship and a brief break.
